The Tour de 4 route was always going to be a decent test - 56.5 miles with around 1,000m (roughly 3,300 feet) of climbing along the way… but Glasgow's weather made sure nobody got it easy.

Sunday 23rd August saw the club's final hill climb event in the championship…with the infamous Changue Challenge, taking over Skares Road. By the end of it there wasn't a set of lungs among the field that hadn't had a proper working over.

Seven club riders lined up on Sunday for the Round Strathaven 50, one of the club's regular outings and, in many ways, a home fixture. Dougie F, Kevin, Billy, Mark F, John M, Ally D and David Millar all made the trip to what has become a firm favourite on the LRC calendar.
